Slave by John MacArthur

I just finished reading Slave by John MacArthur. This book outlines what it has meant to be a slave throughout history; from ancient Egypt, to first century Roman slaves, and on to the more recent British/American slave trade. Mr. MacArthur gave lots of background so that we could properly understand what it means to be a slave of Christ.

I immediately fell in love with the presentation of this book. There was something about the pages that made them seem almost delicate. While this book was slow starting, it gave much needed information to better understand what it was trying to convey. It was extremely well researched and very enlightening.
