Happy Friday! A dear friend of mine shared a photo with me this week that was simple yet, awesomely humorous.

It was even funnier because she tagged the photo that she was telling her husband and brother to stop following her. Yeah, she's awesome. :)

Alright, I'm posting 2 in 1 today. You'll forgive me right? This is like a continuation of my post on Wednesday, so you may need to reference it for clarity. I am still reading through the book of Leviticus, and last night I came across the following verses:

“When you enter the land of Canaan, which I am giving you as your possession, and I put a spreading mildew in a house in that land, the owner of the house must go and tell the priest, ‘I have seen something that looks like mildew in my house.’ ~ Leviticus 14:34-35

Did you catch that God put the spreading mildew in the home? God is totally in charge of everything. On Wednesday I posted something that a friend of mine told me a few years ago when I was studying Leviticus: "The physical is often a manifestation of spiritual". While I know that isn't always the case, I can't help but wonder if God allows our spiritual lives to the mildew stage on occasion so that we take the time to do a deep cleaning. In the following verses in Leviticus the instructions were to take everything out of the house, not just most things, but everything, and close it up for 7 days. I think that sometimes we need to do that to our lives. Just stop for a minute, totally take inventory of our lives, and spend sometime alone with God to reflect. I think this is why retreats (you know, those things that moms rarely get to go on) are so important. And not a retreat where everything is planned out, but one where we just go and spend time with our Creator. We need to allow Him the opportunity to cleanse us of our mildewy(sp?) lives.

So those are my thoughts for today. I hope you have a fabulous Friday!!
